I puked for the first time last night!!! I forgot how horrible puking is, but it made me feel better. Especially since I've had spotting all day yesterday, and I even had some red spotting :( I'm trying not to worry about it, and the puking did reassure me!

I've been going to another "regular" mommy board, and this one post just really bugged me. The title was "Finally Joining You" and I thought to myself, yeah it's probably another of those after 2 months of TTC I'm finally pregnant! So I click on it, and yep - Finally after 6 months of TTC I'm pregnant! What was worse was a response said, "I am always so happy for people who have been TTC a really long time when they finally get their BFP!" And there was another one quite similar.

UGH!

So of course I had to post:
"6 months is well within the normal time of TTC, and really is not that long. Just understand that there are people here who have been TTC a *really long time* and have been through fertility treatments, so we can be a bit cynical when we see the words "finally" followed by "after 6 months"

Congrats to you!! :)"

I will probably be ousted from that group, but oh well. I always have my infertile graduates group!

To the Anon comment: It's not that I'm angry that someone had an easy time getting pregnant. Not at all! It's that she used "finally" and then the other comments made me mad too. When people who have been dealing with infertility see that, it does get them upset. Not so upset that it would harm my babies! That's ridiculous (not that getting upset will really harm anything anyway)! But when I see it I roll my eyes and think "ugh!"
If you go back and read my entire blog, and then read other blogs of people who are dealing with infertility and then try to put yourself in their shoes, you can probably understand. Trust me, I didn't get upset upset, but it is one of those comments that bugs.

Hi, I know that you have had a hard time in your journey to be a mommy, but please try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy (even the puking). I know it is easy to get angry when you see someone have an easy time with getting pregnant, but being upset by someone won't help you or your little ones growing inside of you. Please try to rest and relax this last week before going back to work.

I didn't mean that getting upset would harm you or your baby, but more just trying to encourage you to relax. You are right, I do not understand and cannot put myself in your shoes. However, I have read your blog from the beginning and have followed your road to TTC since it began and I am nothing but happy for you. However, the added stress of getting upset is not good for you. I didn't comment to upset you either, just the opposite. I just want you to be able to relax and enjoy all the excitement of pregnancy, the good (babies growing, moving, etc), the bad and the ugly (morning sickness, exhaustion, constipation, etc). Please don't take my comment as a judgement, but a concern. Hope you are feeling better today.

lol Honestly, the suggestion of relaxing is just as irritating now when pregnant as it was when I was TTC. There's always going to be stress and things we get upset about (especially when pregnant... trust me, I'm a hormonal basketcase) and "just relaxing" isn't going to happen! (Enjoying the pregnancy, however, is quite possible ;) ) Just sayin'. Getting a little irritated by something isn't going to harm anything except make us grumpy, LOL.

I get upset when people post "Going to be a mummy in May"

Oh yeah? How do they KNOW? What makes them think getting a BFP means they're going to be a mummy?!

Try not to worry too much about the spotting (I know, easier said than done). One of my good friends spotted throughout her pregnancy and gave birth to a perfect, beautiful baby girl almost a year ago.
