I haven't been able to sleep well for the past 2 nights. Last night, I woke up at 12:30 and didn't get back to sleep until 1:30. Tonight, I was up at 1:30 but got back to sleep. Of course now, I'm up at 5 am. I decided to get up, hoping that when I go back to bed I can fall back asleep. I'm just uncomfortable when I wake up too. Weird, because I'm so tired.

I think it's normal in early pregnancy. Nerves, excitement and hormones. Congratulations!

It is normal in pregnancy (first and third trimesters) and then again when you are a mommy! It's almost as if our bodies are preparing us. Just try to rest when you can if you don't get back to sleep. Congrats! I have been following your journey from NI and your siggy! I hope it all goes well, I can read from your posts early on, how badly you wanted this. I am very happy for you, there is nothing like mommyhood!!!!

Welcome to the world of motherhood. You will never sleep the same way again. When they are grown and move out you will be in menopause which causes it's own sleep problems. Just rest when you can and a BIG congratulations from me! I have read your blog from the beginning and cheered aloud when I read your good news.

There is no joy that begins to compare to having a baby. Nothing ever comes close to a baby smiling up at you. It is a love like no other. Enjoy!! They become teens later LOL!
