Maya and Sofia

I don't have long, super busy, but Monday early morning my water broke!
Maya Louise was born at 3:21 pm weighing 6 lbs 1 oz.
Sofia Marie was born at 3:24 pm weighing 4 lbs 8 oz.

Both were delivered vaginally, and I got to deliver in the regular labor room!! My doctor rocks!!!
We had slight issues with Maya being small and Sofia has some jaundice, so I have to supplement w/ formula for now. But my ped. and LCs are confident they will both go to breast no problem!

So, super busy feeding 2 and then pumping!! Will post later w/ more details.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! And so happy to hear you had a vaginal birth --- what do you mean your doctor rocks (although it's nice s/he isn't C-sec by default)? You're the one who did it --- so it's really you who rock!! Congrats again. Beautiful names, by the way. Hang in there w/ getting the hang of breastfeeding. Post some photos when/if you have time.

Congratulations on the arrival of your baby girls. I can only imagine the amount of happiness that you are feeling after all the waiting. I hope that the jaundice resolves itself and that breastfeeding is successful for you!

So glad they are safely here and everyone is healthy. I figured when you did not update that good news was coming. Please post pictures of your little beauties when you can. Get as much sleep as you can and rejoice in every moment. They grow up so very, very fast and you don't want to miss a single thing. These are days you can never get back and will be memories you hold so dear forever.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! So sorry about the 'stalking' thing- anyways that what I kind of felt like I was doing LOL- I am so happy for you, hubby and of course the girls- and you did it- the natural way, the way you wanted to! I know that you will have your hands full, so we probably won't hear from you for awhile or as often- what a precious gift to receive right before Easter- MIL should be coming soon- that should be some help too you.
I am so happy for you- try to get some rest, I know that it will be hard to do with two little hungry ones wanting to eat all the time- I am sure you and Daddy are just beaming- can't wait to see pics of the happy family! Well enjoy your little family- lots and lots of love and hugs to you and the newest additions- I am sure that they are absolutely beautiful! Blessings to you all!

Congrats on your daughters! I gave birth to my daughters in Feb naturally because my epi did not work. It was an amazing experience. That is wonderful they did not need NICU time. One of my daughters had to be int he NICU for not keeping her temps high enough and Jaundice. They are almost 4 weeks old now and we are still trying to get a hold of fully BF. They have to supplement with EBM and some formula. The first few weeks were very hard but you will get through them. If you need to talk to someone about BF issues, let me know... I am still trying to not get too frustrated about it! Good luck to you! Can't wait to see pics!
